ETCHSTAR series is a Modular machine for alkaline or acid etching solution in the manufacture of printed circuit boards.
This series is composed by two different lines for Standard or Fine Line process.

The Etchstar is available with one or two etching chambers configuration in a range of 650 (25,5”) and 760 mm. (30”) maximum panel width.

The Etchstar’s strong self supporting structure can be made up of 3 mm. (.120) thick totally constructed in Titanium or advance assembling system for Polypropylene material with Stainless Steel frame.

These machines are ideally suited for inner layer as well as for outer layer etching process.

The Etchstar is suitable to process panels down to 0,05 mm. (.002”).

Both Titanium and Polypropylene version have been developed to process thin panels with the standard configuration.

The standard dimension of the shafts are over sized for the standard panels but necessary for back panels, so that means the standard machine can process back panels 12,7mm. (.500”) without any modification or extra costs.

Etch-Ultraflex series is suitable to process panel from 0,025 core to 7 mm (.001” to .270”) thickness. This special version is dedicated to FPC production. This New Concept machines have been especially designed to satisfy the actual requirements for advanced high machine performance features at lower production costs. Read more in Ultraflex section.

The upper and lower spray manifolds are easily removed from the side of the machine without any tools.

The Etchstar Fine Line has spray manifold special designed for more precise etching capability. Etchstar Fine Line configuration is the result of a new concept of projecting the machine especially dedicated to this process for obtaining the minimum variation of copper thickness all over the surface thus Uniform Etching effect.

Etchstar series can be provided with the devices necessary to control the etchant stability. RED-OX (ORP), Density meter and Conductivity meter are available for maintaining the aggressiveness of the Acid etchant. A complete Regeneration System for automatic feeding of chemical solutions is available for more complex processing lines.

In case of DES or SES line one only electrical cabinet wardrobe type could be adopted for controlling whole line. A Portable Computer and Complete Process Control are available as option.

Chemstar Modular series composed by PP Modules can be advantageously configurated with Etchstar series for many different process in the fabrication of printed circuits.

Drying modules of different configurations are available to meet all production requirements.
